These rankings are based on unsolicited patient feedback, gathered from online reviews between September 2023 and September 2024. To be eligible, hospitals must exclusively provide pediatric services and have received at least 100 reviews during this period.
Using advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP) and machine learning, our analysis is based on over 35 million unprompted opinions shared by patients and their loved ones. This approach goes beyond traditional surveys, providing a more authentic, real-time view of patient experience across all healthcare locations in the US.
What sets our rankings apart is our exclusive focus on patient experience. Unlike other rankings that rely on specialist opinion or clinical metrics, ours are defined by what patients actually think about their care – measured by one powerful indicator: the PEP Score.
